Michel de Nostradamus is a legend in the world of Prophecies. His prophecies have been made 100 years before the original occurring. Quite Interesting Strange but true!!!

“In the year of the new century and nine months,
From the sky will come a great King of Terror
The sky will burn at forty-five degrees
Fire approaches the great new city…”



This has been one of the closest prophecies ever made in the history. This refers to the twin tower attack in USA by Osama Bin Laden the leader of the terror group. Although he predicted the year as 1999 he did mention further in the prophecies list the date calculation might be incorrect.







 “From the depths of the West of Europe
A young child will be born of poor people,
He who by his tongue will seduce a great troop;
His fame will increase towards the realm of the East”


This is another interesting prediction which pointed towards the birth of Hitler as he was born in 1889 in Western Europe to a poor family he created a large army of German followers through his charismatic way of delivering the messages. Meanwhile Hitler had an influence on Japan the kingdoms of East.




The world of prophecies is quite enchanting that draws each one of us towards it.
If the basis becomes science we are drawn towards the concept of predictive analytics. Based on previous patterns we predict the future outcomes and occurrences. One of the most common examples is credit scoring which has one’s credit history in terms of credit card, loan etc payment and then ranks your future credit ranking and based on this the amount of loan sanction is decided

Kaggle is one such tool, which on the basis of the predictive analytics gives data scientists and enthusiasts an opportunity to solve complex yet interesting questions. Kaggle.com lists the number of problem statement and have a price on the best solution. The enthusiasts all round the world compete in this competition.


In the class of Data Science I have successfully finished one of the data problems on Kaggle. It was a brush with a new world which opens avenues of predictive analytics. Its a 1st one in the list.
